Do you have a LabView driver for Sealevel SeaI/O or eI/O devices?
We recommend using Sealevel SeaI/O and eI/O devices with LabView in combination with one of the available options to give LabView the ability to communicate via the Modbus protocol. The input and output features of SeaI/O and eI/O devices trigger in response to commands conforming to a single variant of the Modbus protocol that your device supports.
For Ethernet and Wi-Fi connected SeaI/O devices, and all eI/O devices, this is Modbus TCP. For the USB, RS-485 and RS-232 connected SeaI/O devices, and all eI/O devices, this is Modbus RTU. For the latest options to give LabView support for these Modbus protocols, see the National Instruments support guide.
The option you select to give Modbus support to LabView must also be able to send every Modbus command your model of SeaI/O or eI/O device requires to facilitate control of all the features you will use. For a list of Modbus commands accepted by a model of a device, and the device feature that each command controls, select your device here from our repository of product documentation.
