Serial I/O Solutions

Sealevel synchronous and asynchronous serial adapters are trusted for industrial applications and military deployment where reliable, high-speed communications are required – especially in sensor system applications. Solutions are available in traditional bus-based form factors or USB and Ethernet protocols.

Designed for I/O-intensive applications, our industrial computers, touch panel PCs and COM Express solutions offer unmatched computing power combined with configurability. The HazPAC 10 Rugged Panel PC has a NEMA 4/IP64 rating protection from sprayed liquids including rain, snow, splashes, hose downs, and other pressurized water streams.

Digital and Analog I/O Solutions

Sealevel offers digital and analog I/O products and data acquisition devices with optically isolated inputs, Reed and Form C relay outputs, TTL interfaces to solid-state relays, and A/D and D/A functionality. Our I/O solutions support configurations from a few inputs to a distributed sensor network.

Robust I/O for Precision Flow Control, Test and Measurement

Case Study

Brooks Instrument is a leading supplier of precision flow control and flow measurement instruments. Their products are used in a broad range of applications such as semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, fiber optics, thin film manufacturing, solar cells, LED, alternative energy, oil and gas, chemicals and petrochemicals. In their manufacturing facility the Brooks Instrument team assembles calibrates and performs numerous quality tests on each instrument rolling out from the production line. The most popular instruments are mass flow controllers, or MFCs. Used heavily in semiconductor applications, these devices must be qualified to a very high degree of leak resistance, given the corrosive and toxic nature of some gases employed during semiconductor fabrication. For this test, each of the automated test stands in production must be able to communicate with equipment that supports RS-232 and RS-485 protocols.
