SeaLINK+422: USB to 1 Port RS-422 (Tx & Rx only) Adapter

The 2106 USB serial adapter provides a single RS-422 serial port that simplifies adding USB connectivity to legacy non-USB RS-422 applications via a standard DB9M connector. The adapter incorporates rugged, molded connectors that improve reliability in automation, factory floor, industrial and mobile applications.

The USB serial adapter features programmable baud rate and data formats with 128-byte transmit and 384-byte receive buffers. The adapter is powered by the USB port, is compatible with all standard PC baud rates and supports high-speed communication to 921.6 Kbps.

Sealevel’s SeaCOM software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. After installing the software, simply connect the SeaLINK® serial interface adapter to your USB port and the device is immediately recognized by the system as a standard COM port.

The attached cable is approximately 60 inches long and fully shielded to protect the 2106 from RF and EMI interference that is common in mobile and industrial environments. The 2106 operates over a wide 0°C to 70°C and is available in an extended temperature version.
