Description
Control and monitor up to 32 channels of buffered drive digital I/O via an internal USB connection with the 8126-OEM. The board addresses the 32 channels of I/O as four eight-bit ports, each programmable as input or output. Use a standard 50-pin IDC ribbon cable to connect an industry standard relay rack for PC based control and automation of equipment including sensors, switches, security control systems, and other industrial automation systems.
The SeaMAX software suite supports the SeaDAC Lite family and is designed to work with third party applications via the SeaMAX API. Sealevel’s SeaMAX software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Windows and Linux operating systems.
The 8126-OEM is USB bus powered, so no external power supply is needed. A 2mm 4-pin Molex vertical header provides an internal USB connection to your host system. Standard operating temperature range is 0C to +70C and extended temperature range (-40C to +85C) is optional.

Excellent Good Value USB PIO Device
FDi Systems were looking for a programmable IO device to integrate into their latest light military grade multi-module computing platform. We had dealt with Sealevel Systems before and their devices are easy to program using the provided Active-X components and their support after sales for both hardware and software is also excellent so we were pleased to learn they could provide an OEM version with 32 PIO in a very compact size which was simply ideal for integration into our X5 modules.
To date we have created a 96 PIO X5 module and a 64 PIO X5 module both of which are designed to meet military specifications for 901d Grade A Shock, 167-1A Vibration as well as stringent temperature and humidity requirements and they have performed well to date. We are very well pleased with the Sealevel 8126 modules and later next year they will become part of the standard computer control products used for Flight Deck operations on US Navy ships.

Reliable Product – Great Suuport
I use these devices in custom control systems for tunnel services (vent fans etc), traffic control systems and military equipment. My company has purchased and deployed some 30 of these 8126 units over the past 4 years. All of them are in constant daily use and we have not had a single failure. We write in various software languages withing Visual Studio and the SeaMAX and other software development tools are easy to use with good examples and available support. I particularly like the fact that these product are supported by people based in the US, they are available by telephone and email, they talk English and they are prompt in responding to help requests. Of the 4 companies I regularly deal with for hardware/software support Sealevel are the best by a big margin and I would recommend this product and many of their other USB and PCI products which I consider some of the best in the industry.
