The 8007’s PCI digital I/O interface reed relay outputs provide high quality, long-life, low-current (10 Watt maximum), dry contact switch closures. Reed relays are well suited for low current applications. The relays are normally open, and close when energized. To simplify cable connections, the card’s DB37 connectors can be interfaced directly to Sealevel’s terminal block (Part# TB02).
Sealevel’s SeaIO Classic software drivers and utilities make installation and operation easy using Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Get a jump start on your digital I/O development with The Digital I/O Handbook that will provide helpful information that you will use again and again. Check out Chapter 1 for an overview of logic principles.
Uncle Ralph –
You’ll be glad you did . . .
I have used up to seven of these in an automated tester with great results, but I include at least one in every proposal even if I don’t know what I’m going to use it for at the time. There is invariably something you end up having to turn ON or OFF or insert or remove from one circuit or another that you didn’t know about up front. 32 isolated independent relays let you do practically anything you need to do. Cutting down the supplied example code to fit our apps was way easier than I expected. We call the driver from LabWindows-CVI with ease.
Control System Retrofits –

Our team has used this particular relay board for years, literally. And it has NEVER failed. We have these in our control system retrofits in power plants all over the world, in the most desolate places. We have yet to see one fail! You won’t go wrong with this relay board if it suits your needs!
