Ruggedized Edge Computing for Oil & Gas Exploration

This is the story of a power generation company’s need for a robust, secure controller… and the team that pulled out all the stops to make it happen. A primary supplier of energy worldwide was ready to create the next-generation controller for its gas and wind turbines. Not only did it need to meet a number of project requirements but most importantly, there were some hefty security requirements and an extremely tight timeline. But Sealevel’s cross-functional, fully integrated team is exactly what a challenge like this calls for.

Powering Energy Efficiency: IIoT Solar Panel Solutions

An amusement park that prioritizes sustainability contracted a renewable energy group to install a solar power system. The group roof-mounted the panels throughout the park and ground-mounted them in one lot outside the park. The energy group wanted an IIoT solution to gather reliability data on their panels’ electricity production and relay commands for cloudy days for operational optimization. The solution also needed to allow remote access and monitoring, regardless of conditions.

Rugged and Ready: Relio R1 Beats the Heat in Fracking

A major oil and gas company uses a fleet of trucks that travel to and along oil fields. The trucks carry computers that are the brains of their work. The company’s previous computers broke down when exposed to high shock, intense vibrations or extreme temperatures. Sealevel engineers modeled the potential operating thermal conditions and with their findings, they created the Relio R1 industrial computer.
