What Do Chuck Leavell and Betty White Have In Common?

Congratulations to our friend and spokesperson, Chuck Leavell, on being named an honorary forest ranger by the U. S. Forest Service! Thanks to Chuck’s wife, Rose Lane, for sharing this photo!

Many people know Chuck for his music, but he’s also a dedicated conservationist and tree farmer. He co-founded the Mother Nature Network, owns a 2,500-acre pine tree plantation in central Georgia, and has written several books on sustainability and conservation.
