Sealevel Power Expands Technology Horizons
SINCE 1986, Sealevel Systems has manufactured I/O products to serve our customers serial and digital interface requirements. Currently offering over 200 standard products, Sealevel offers high reliability and a commitment to customer satisfaction that is demonstrated by our ISO 9001:2000 Registration and the Lifetime Warranty that is standard with all Sealevel manufactured I/O products.

Sealevel developed a custom synchronous PCMCIA card for use on the Space Shuttle. This card allows a laptop computer to interface to a custom signal from a robotic arm on the shuttle to provide positioning information and control.
"The PC Card made by Sealevel that we call the MCIU has flown in space and performed successfully on two space shuttle missions to date. It is scheduled to fly on all robotic missions on the Space Shuttle. It provides an inexpensive method for astronauts to view advanced robotics displays driven by real-time data and received in a laptop computer".

Serial Performance You Can Trust
Sealevels serial products designed using the XR16C850 UART provide a 128-byte FIFO, 16 times larger than boards designed with 16C550 parts commonly found on other serial products. This capability allows error free operation even in high-speed applications regardless of the operating system.
Our RS-232/422/485 multi-interface capabilities afford the user maximum flexibility. Choose RS-422 mode for long distance communication up to 4000 feet where noise immunity and high data integrity are essential. Or, select RS-485 and capture data from multiple peripherals in a RS-485 multi-drop network. Our onboard auto-enable hardware automatically handles the RS-485 driver enable allowing the RS-485 ports to be treated as standard serial ports by the operating system. This allows the standard COM driver to be utilized for RS-485 communications.
Digital I/O Solutions
Whether your application calls for TTL interface to solid-state relays or can use our industrial I/O products offering relay output and optically isolated input, Sealevel can provide the digital I/O solution you need. Our wide range of accessories, including terminal blocks and cabling, simplify the installation process.
Sealevel Achieves ISO 9001:2000 Registration
As further evidence to Sealevels commitment to Total Customer Satisfaction the Companys Management System has achieved registration to ISO 9001:2000 in 2002. This provides one of the strongest assurances of product/service quality available.
ISO 9001:2000 registration ensures Sealevels customers that the proper processes and business practices are in place to guarantee their satisfaction.
Sealevel is audited by Quality Management Institute (QMI), North Americas largest management system registrar.

Excellent Software Support
Our full array of hardware is backed by powerful software that makes implementation easy. Each Sealevel product ships with a comprehensive software suite providing drivers, setup files, samples, and application notes. Most popular operating systems are supported including Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP, QNX, and Linux. For help installing serial products, diagnostic software is supplied such as loopback tests, bit error rate testing (BERT), and throughput monitoring. All of Sealevels digital I/O products are now supported through our OPC driver, making connection to a variety of third-party software packages simple. |
Long-Term Availability
Sealevel is committed to providing our long-term availability of our products. In fact we still produce a variety of boards that date back to the 1980s. We work closely with our vendors to insure component availability and in instances that a component becomes obsolete we strive to design a form, fit, and function replacement that works transparently. |
